FAST LANE DRIVE LAS VEGAS "FAST FRIDAY" SHOW
A new and very interesting event has recently popped up in the Las Vegas area that has drawn the interest of automotive enthusiasts. It is basically a supercar social revolving around supercars, business people, and entrepreneurs.
Not knowing much detail about it, a good friend of mine gave me a heads up the day of the event. After hearing it was all about exotics and supercars, I quickly made my way to attend and take photographs.
The event at hand is called Fast Friday and it is hosted by Fast Lane Drive and its Las Vegas chapter in collaboration with the General Admission restaurant within the UnCommons plaza. It is an invite-only event that boasts a showcase of supercars along with a social gathering of business owners and entrepreneurs.
Fast Friday was free for the public to enjoy. All the vehicles were parked nicely in an enclosed area in front of General Admission. The coordinators did an excellent job of making everything look visually appealing, drawing the attention of photographers such as myself to take as many photos as we can. Not having extensive supercar knowledge myself, it was a great opportunity for me to learn about these machines and explore them in detail. There’s such an artistic aspect behind the lines and silhouette of these cars that make them so enjoyable to photograph.
As a random spectator, I personally did not know anyone that was part of the event. It was a bit intimidating being surrounded by individuals of this caliber, but it was also motivating to be able to experience a social gathering such as this. This side of the Las Vegas car culture was great to see and it has grown my interest in learning more about these cars in general.
For this event being a first, the turnout was amazing. From my understanding, it will turn into a recurring event that will happen every First Friday of the month. They plan on inviting more supercar owners to bring out the most insane cars in Las Vegas, and I’m all for it.
