FAST FRIDAY LAS VEGAS JULY 2024

The Las Vegas heat has been in full force this season, especially in July. There’s only a handful of automotive events to look forward to including Fast Friday. First Friday of the month means another great super car social hosted by Fast Lane Drive’s Las Vegas Chapter held at General Admission LV inside the UnCommons plaza.

This time around, I noticed a nice change in attendance as new faces (at least to me) showed up. The usual rotation of cars within the General Admission patio happened, this time featuring a gorgeous two-tone Lamborghini Huracan STO.

The main showstopper, however, was posted outside the front entrance to General Admission. Last month’s event hosted a Bugatti Chiron. This time around, another insane hyper car took the lead. Make and model? Pagani Utopia.

The details on this car were superb, as expected from a legendary automaker such as Pagani. This was my first time seeing this car as I never knew it existed. Every single section of the car expressed art. I’ve also learned that the owner of this Utopia is the same as last month’s Chiron. Insane.

One thing I noticed about this Fast Friday was the turn out was smaller than June’s event in which I’m sure it all had to do with the heat. Regardless of, there were still plenty of exotic car owners and spectators who came out and showed support. Even the local ice cream shop, Salt & Straw, came out and gave samples of their amazing treats.

For those who attended, it was interesting to see a different set of vehicles, especially the Mercedes AMG G63 6-wheel and its Brabus variant.

As I was taking photos from the General Admission patio, I noticed they started playing slideshows of past Fast Friday events. Upon a closer look, I noticed that they were all photos I took which was awesome to see.

I took a little extra time actually formally introduce myself to the organizers of this event and to also meet some of the members of the Las Vegas Chapter. It was great to be in conversation with entrepreneurs, learning their mindset, and observing their ideas on how they can help each other out.

As Fast Friday came to an end, I took some time to chat with the organizers a bit more learning about what they do individually outside Fast Lane Drive. They also expressed how much they like my work. It’s always awesome meeting new faces at these events and of course I look forward to the next one.
